Ambassador Leonna Prather is an activist, advocate and ombudsman defending the rights of indigenous peoples. Ambassador Prather has been active in promoting the rights of Native Americans and Aboriginal Canadians more frequently in recent years with a focus on peace, understanding and unity among tribal groups.

Ambassador Prather carries the proponent International Indigenous Unity Flag created by Col. Michael Sher of Canada's First Nations, in an effort to spread the ideals of brotherhood, indigeneity, and socio-environmental justice.
